Years ago, I was a member of Li Edelkoort's team in Paris. There I learned about trend forecasting - a twilight zone between observing the past, analysing the present, and offering people what they don't yet know they want.
After studying, living and working in Japan for the past few years,I am offering a Creative Fusion research and analysis based on absorbing ancient philosophy ideas, crafts, and traditions and expressing them in a contemporary context that fits our modern lives.

Ceative Fusion for my Musubi Jewelry collection - weaving ancient crafts with contemporary design.
From inspirations, mood boards, material research until the final product design.

"Musubi" is the Japanese word for "to tie". It derives from the term "musu" - to come into being and "hi" - spirit. Spirit is soul. To tie means to be born.
Musubi 結 is composed of two parts: The Kanji on the left, Thread and on the right, Good Luck.
“Musubi” knots are the heart of the Japanese craft Mizuhiki.
Mizuhiki embodies significant cultural meanings. Inspired by this craft and its wonderful meanings I created the “Musubi” jewelry.
To tie is something special. Its symbolism reflects my feelings as an artist connecting cultures, weaving ancient crafts with contemporary design.
