Kyoto is one of my favorite places in Japan.
It offers a fascinating fusion of tradition, nature, history and contemporary art. Exhibitions take place inside ancient temples, traditional Zen gardens sit alongside gardens designed by contemporary architects, seasonal festivals fill the streets, and small craft studios continue centuries-old traditions while creating new contemporary work.
This personal Zoom session is designed to help you make the most of your time in Kyoto and discover the Kyoto I return to again and again.
Based on your exact travel dates, interests and itinerary, I create a personalized list of recommendations including:

• Seasonal gardens and temple visits
• Traditional craft workshops and cultural experiences

• Neighborhood recommendations

The session usually takes place a few days or weeks before your trip, allowing me to provide the most up-to-date recommendations for what is happening in Kyoto during your stay.
During our session, I will help you organize your days so you can experience both the well-known highlights and the quieter places that make Kyoto so special.
